Jacqui.ch: Classical Music Concert

Last Friday night there was a classical music concert in Zurich, so a bunch of us went to it to try and get some contrast to our otherwise undignified lifestyles. Evan, Shane, Vance, Travis, Warren, Henry, Bernard and I all got pimped out in our formal attire and enjoyed an hour-long performance of music inspired by Shakespearian Love. It was cool, and we all really enjoyed ourselves. And don't worry, we made sure to hold true to the praktikant ways and be drunk and such for the show...haha. The main inspiration for this was because after the concert, the lobby area turned into a club (strange combination of events, lol). On one floor they had a dj, who was pretty decent and then on another floor they had 2 guys doing weird experimental music...they had these home made industrial instruments and all sorts of electronic equiptment...it was interesting, but weird (unfortunatly, I didn't get any pics of it, you will have to use your imagination).

We partied there for most of the night...Bernard, Henry and Warren left early enough to catch the last train back to Baden, but the rest of us missed it. We ended up walking through the pouring rain, and then sleeping a bit at the Zurich train station. It was cold and not so fun, especially when comboed with the walk home in Baden (no busses running yet). Oh well, fun night overall, and nice to get some culture for once!
