Karaoke Showdown

Following a week long e-mail argument between Tommy and Nate over who's a better singer, the praktikants all invaded Pickwicks for Kareoke night!

I was really impressed with everyone's enthusiasm actually, lots of people sang! Oh what drinking can do to a person's self confidence, mwah ha ha!!! The night was an absolute blast, I was overwhelmed with excitiment and had to restrain myself from signing up for millions of songs, lol. Still managed a couple of group ones though (I'm not into the whole singing on my own action), here's a breakdown of what everyone sang (from what I can remember) (and salvage off other people's blogs):

Nate: Sweet Home Alabama
Tommy: I Think We're Alone Now
Vance: Kryptonite (the most comic related thing he could find I guess, lol)
Me, Adrienn, Evan, Shane, Mike (Evan's friend): Summer Nights (I just can't resist Grease kareoke!!!)
Me, Adrienn, Evan, Mike: Total Eclipse of the Heart (I don't think we did this song justice)
Warren: Sylvia's Mother

Warren took videos of everyone, which I'm dying to get my hands on. There were lots of other performances by non-praktikants too, and we sung along at the top of our lungs to the wicked songs. After everyone headed over to Ziegelhau for the afterparty, which was also fun times. Pretty hardcore night, especially since most of us had been skiing all day! Here's some pics, I'll post more once I find them:

Tommy, unaware that he picked a song that was sung by a girl

Vance rocking out to Kryptonite, probably wishing he was Superman

Nate and Tommy: the 2 that stated the whole kareoke idea in the first place (yay!)

Warren being hardcore

Evan and Shane continuted the singing way into the afterparty (much to the dissapointment of the Ziegelhau neighbours).

Kevin tells a dramatic story (he could be...I don't really know)

Party on Adrienn's bed!

Tommy gets sleepy

Vance gets sleepy (wow, 4-way shocker)

And before you ask, I don't know who won the sing-off (I don't think a winner was ever declared actually).
