Is this an awesome location for a concert or what? We're in the middle of a valley and all you can see is mountains (and tents, and the stage, etc...)
June 24-26, 16 of us went to an outdoor music show in Interlaken called Greenfield. It was sweet, we all brought tents and then camped there for the weekend and there were bands playing Friday through to Sunday.
Well, if we're going to stand around playing the guitar at the train station, we might as well see if we can get some money from the crowd....from left: Olivier (from Montreal), Adrienn, Ed (from England)

The first night was kind of crazy, right before Queens of the Stone
Age were about to play there was a huge rainstorm. We all ran for
cover through blinding rain to the other stage which is covered by a
tent. It was so muddy inside, and there was ankle deep water most
places, which didn't matter much since we were all soaked by then
anyways. It was too bad because Queens of the Stone Age and Nine Inch
Nails were cancelled due to rain (booerns!) but we watched Pennywise
on the indoor tent and jumped around in the mosh pit/muddy lake in
front of the stage. After that most people stayed to watch Die Toten
Hosen (some popular German band), but I opted for going back for dry
clothes. We could hear the music from our tent anyways so we just
chilled out there, but apparently it was a really good show.

Saturday morning was spent trying to undo the rain/mud damage from the
night before. I was extremely grateful that our tent happened to be of
good quality and was waterproof...others were not so lucky and
everything they brought was wet. We saw some shows, Fantoma is a
really strange group....That night we saw some wicked bands: Jimmy Eat
World and Green Day both put on great shows (of course) and there was
no rain either :)

On Sunday we finally had hot weather! We went to the lake and swam
(brrrr) and then saw lots of bands. Finch, Flogging Molly were both
really cool, and I discovered a couple new band that I had not heard
of before but really enjoyed.

Sunday afternoon was when a decision had to be made: The last train
back to Baden left at 10:30, which would mean missing Millencolin and
System of a Down, so most of us stayed with the plan of taking the
first train back in the morning. It was a good decision, because the
shows were amazing (though I don't plan on returning to a mosh pit for
System of a Down anytime soon, haha). So after the bands we packed up
our tents and left the campground around 1:30am. The walk to the train
station was about an hour, and then we had a couple hours sleep on the
ground of the train station before the 5am train took us home in time
for work!
